Subject outline

In this subject students will explore, in theory and practice, various factors and processes that impact on the quality and depth of their engagement with individuals and groups across the range of contexts in child protection leadership. This subject will emphasise awareness of self and the development of self-capacities as they relate to building working relationships. The other focus of the subject is to develop awareness and skills in shaping the engagement environment so that relationships are developed which are characterised by safety, respect, inclusiveness and empowerment as this contributes to better outcomes for children.
