Subject outline
In this subject students will develop an understanding of the theory and practice of project management. Additionally, a particular focus of the subject is to integrate the value of ensuring that high ethical principles and standards are maintained and implemented. Projects ranging from apparently simple tasks to large scale complex undertakings all require systematic management processes and awareness of ethical implications within organisations and communities. In this subject, projects dealing with land use change and development, environmental and social initiatives and policy, and community development are examined, reviewed and used as a basis to learn the key steps in project management.
