Subject outline
In this subject students examine environmental topics and controversies from multi-disciplinary perspectives. They study environmental, social and cultural aspects of contemporary and historical problems of sustainability. Knowledge and skills for environmental literacy are developed, predominantly through guided online study using print and electronic resources, peer critique, individual and group project work (which may include field enquiry). Students work in teams to investigate a topic in depth, and present the results to peers.
