Subject outline
This subject examines clinical reasoning and decision making and how they support clinical practice. It explores the development of professional knowledge and the relationship between theoretical knowledge and practical expertise. While theoretical knowledge is traditionally thought to be developed separately from the clinic, this subject examines how theoretical knowledge and clinical practice can inform each other. Literature to support this subject is drawn from disciplines such as medicine, education and occupational therapy. OCT5CRD is a Masters level subject.
