Subject outline
In this subject students will develop knowledge and skills in complex neonatal intensive care nursing. Students will expand their understanding of the physiological processes of complex neonatal conditions and consolidate their knowledge and skills in nursing therapies that contribute to the development of safe, therapeutic nursing practice in NICU environments. Opportunities will be provided for students to explore and deepen their understanding of neonatal nursing and professional issues impacting on the practice of the neonatal intensive care nurse.
