Subject outline
Students complete a project that takes the equivalent of six months of continuous work under the supervision of a member of staff. The project is completed and written up as a thesis when the student completes the unit NAN5THB. All students are required to present a seminar outlining the proposed project at a time to be determined by the Nanotechnology Course Co-ordinator. A list of prospective thesis topics and supervisors is available from the Nanotechnology Course Co-ordinator.

Five 5.0 hours supervised research per week on weekdays during the day from week 10 to week 22 and delivered via face-to-face.
"Supervised research under the direction of a member of staff equivalent to a total of 300 hours Students are expected to be present during normal working hours each day and to apportion their time between their research project and personal study related to other masters level units."
