Credit points: 15
Subject outline
Most business is carried out in Australia by companies and other groups of persons. In this subject students deal with the key features of the legislation and cases which govern the formation and regulation of these business associations. There is an explanation of how these laws operate on the economy and society at large and on persons and institutions within society, along with how persons and institutions may best utilise these laws . Students completing the unit should be able to apply rules and principles extracted from the legislation and cases to resolve disputes arising from the operations and functioning of business associations.
