Most people charged with criminal offences are sentenced. Students in this subject examine the law and practice of sentencing in Victoria. The subject is taught through a clinical placement at Preston legal Aid. Students will assist lawyers at the office with cases that involve sentencing issues as well as assisting clients themselves under supervision.
