Subject outline

In this subject, students will develop a practitioner's knowledge and skills to deliver high quality dementia care. Dementia is examined using a multidimensional approach, which is designed to encourage interdisciplinary practice. Content focuses on biological, social and psychological aspects of care, as well as specific clinical treatments and interventions. Therapeutic relationships and carer health are also considered.
