Subject outline

In this subject students undertake written and oral exercises designed to consolidate linguistic skills developed in French 6, enhancing both fluency and accuracy and enabling them to work towards attaining a B2 level in the Common European Framework. These will include discussions on topics of social, cultural and political significance. Aural comprehension activities will develop listening accuracy, and will involve authentic audio visual materials. Written work will include grammar revision and application via exercises and composition, as well as analysis of authentic texts.
