Subject outline

This subject consists of a photographic journey exploring a regional Australian outback landscape using the medium of digital photography. The workshop is designed to develop the students' understanding and application of camera operation, visual thinking and to introduce them to individual visual problem solving related to the media investigated. . A local Aboriginal guide will accompany the field trips to assist in the transition into the cultural specifics of space and place. The participants will exhibit their work in a major Regional Art Gallery at the conclusion of the program.
