THS5EPR

Credit points: 30
Subject outline
This subject offers students an alternative to THS5TPR by permitting them to undertake a larger and more extensive research exercise as part of their studies for a Masters degree in Tourism. The larger scale of the research exercise encourages students to develop a more extensive approach to an industry issue or practical problem. The nature of the final assessable report is determined by negotiation between the supervisor and the student, and may vary from an industry report, academic thesis or other documented presentation. The subject will provide a series of seminars on research preparation and students will be expected to attend regular meetings with their supervisor.
