In this subject the major tasks for honours students is the completion, under supervision, of an honours research thesis of 10,000-12,000 words that addresses a meaningful research question. Please note that this subject is to be undertaken with SWP4HOA.

Subject rules

Prerequisites: Students in HHSWM, HSHSW, HSHSWW, RHSW, HWHSH, HWHSHB, HWHSHW and SWP4HOA. All other students require coordinators approval.

Equivalent subjects: N/A

Special conditions: Available only to BSW Honours students. Successful completion of Year 3 of the BSW degree and a high level of academic performance. In addition, honours students must enrol in all BSW Year 4 subjects except Diversity in Social Work Practice and Fields of Practice B. This subject represents one semester of a year-long program and must be taken in conjunction with SWP4HOA.
