Credit points: 10

Subject outline

The object of this seminar series is to provide a working knowledge of neuroanatomy, neuroscience and neurology upon which the information provided in the other course units can be built. The format of the presentations will be both didactic and experiential, with the material of the lecture being developed and demonstrated by virtual anatomical dissection and by viewing prepared slides and videotapes. The unit strongly emphasises the association between structure and function and underlines this with discussion of the site and localisation of various neurological and neuropsychological syndromes.
