Subject outline
Masters degree students begin their thesis research in the first semester of first year and continue throughout the remainder of the program. A critical review, ethics application and a research proposal are required in first year. The thesis is a written work of 12,000 to 15,000 words, and will include two components; a critical review and an empirical research report written in a style appropriate for submission to an academic journal. The thesis must be based on an original research project conducted under the supervision of an appointed supervisor (or co-supervisors). The project must address a research question relevant to the field of clinical psychology.
