Subject outline

In this subject students are introduced to the skills and knowledge necessary for dental and oral health practitioners. Students will also be introduced to the preclinical laboratory and begin to develop skills and knowledge in the areas of restorative and periodontal procedures. By the end of the subject, students will be expected to have achieved competency in areas including dental materials, infection control, preclinical dental procedures and patient management techniques.
