Subject outline
In this subject students develop knowledge, understanding and experience of white water river environments in order to undertake safe living and travel. Students examine natural and cultural history, land management, hydrology and ecology directly relevant to selected white water river environments of South Eastern Australia. Students develop technical expertise of white water paddling, and experiential and interpretative knowledge of river environments as preparation for peer leadership.
