Subject outline

In this third year fieldwork subject the focus is on the development of core occupational therapy skills in one specific practice area such as mental health, neurological rehabilitation, acute care, paediatrics or aged care. Students are required to demonstrate skills in data gathering, intervention/programme planning, implementation and evaluation, recording and reporting and practise these skills in an ethical and professional manner. They are expected to apply and describe the application of the clinical reasoning process and occupational therapy theory.
