Subject outline

The law as to business structures and banking and finance constructs and governs the activities of accountants. This law is the focus of this subject. The concepts and principles of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) are explained. Students will further examine, from a functional perspective, the banking, finance, payment systems and clearing houses which are part of the Australian financial sector.
