In this subject students will investigate the relationship between criminology, criminal justice systems, social policy, and social order and fraud offending. Selected psychological aspects of criminal behaviour are examined in relation to fraud. The profiling of offenders is examined in order to investigate the utility of psychological approaches to understanding criminal behaviour and crime investigation. The process of investigating a criminal event, bringing the matter to trial, and decision-making regarding guilt and disposition, are explored from a psychological perspective.
