Subject outline
This subject is available to students who are completing joint honours in Legal Studies and another discipline or area of study within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. It requires students, under the supervision of a staff member, to design, research and produce a 12,000-15,000 word thesis on an approved topic of relevance to both disciplines. The thesis component of the Legal Studies Honours program is usually completed over two semesters through enrolment in this subject and also LST4TJA. A final result will not be determined until both of these subjects have been completed. LST4TJA and LST4TJB are available to students who are enrolled in a joint Honours program on either a full-time or part time basis.
