In this unit, students will prepare a research paper based on their experience, skills and understanding of a specialised area of conflict resolution. The research may reflect their expertise, experience or interest in a particular area of mediation, negotiation, or arbitration or application to a specific field. This unit is designed for students who have attended considerable professional development training, that is, at least a four-day workshop conducted by a recognised conflict resolution training organisation in an advanced or specialized area of conflict resolution. Approval to undertake this unit must be obtained from the Postgraduate Coordinator in Conflict Resolution based on submission of documentation demonstrating the students attendance at an approved workshop within the past 3 years
