Subject outline
The main aim in this subject is to improve each individual student's writing skills through the study and practice of non-fiction writing across the creative arts -- including creative writing prose, media arts writing and performance writing. In the weekly class we combine analysis of case studies with practical exercises in a range of formats and styles. Students will be introduced to concepts of how genre, audience and medium affect the writing process and creative works.
