Subject outline
This unit explores the concepts, principles and strategies surrounding primary health care. An overseas field trip may be available to Fiji, where students will have an opportunity to: identify key political and cultural issues which have influenced the health of the people of Fiji; contrast major traditional and contemporary life style patterns amongst the people of Fiji; and demonstrate and understanding of the major aspects in health care delivery which have significance for the people of Fiji.
