Subject outline

This subject will study a range of genocides, including the Holocaust. It will include an examination of the study and the evolution of the term 'genocide' as well as of competing definitions but will also involve the close scrutiny of a number of case studies from a range of time periods and geographic regions. The focus of the subject will be on victims and survivors as well as on perpetrators, bystanders, and witnesses.
