Subject outline
This subject represents 12 days of a 72 day clinical program. Students develop entry level skills in the assessment and management of clients with a variety of acquired and developmental communication and swallowing disorders with either the adult or paediatric caseloads. This experience may be undertaken internally at the La Trobe communication clinic or in external agencies (which may be in a rural or remote facility). Student participate in a range of speech pathology activates under the supervision of a qualified speech pathologist. Clinical Education forms and the clinic handbook will be available on LMS.
