Subject outline

Students will learn to apply methods of electronics and digital signal and image processing techniques to medical applications. Principles of medical imaging (CT, MRI, Ultrasound) and picture archiving and storage will be introduced. Basic principles of public health biostatistics and health economics/clinical applications will be discussed.
