This subject deals with the main topics of modern macroeconomic theory at an advanced level and is designed to provide students with the theory, tools and techniques relevant to macroeconomic analysis. The unit covers issues on business cycles and fiscal and monetary policy. Students are made aware of the application of these theories in the Australian context.
