Students gain an understanding of the economics of the financial sector and explore the interrelationships between this sector and the real economy. The unit puts special emphasis upon financial intermediaries. Students develop the ability to analyse current issues in the world of finance. The in-depth understanding of the financial sector enables students to make better financial choices for their personal lives as well as in their future business role.
