This subject provides a set of general tools that, when combined with the understanding of accounting data and other management and marketing techniques gained in other business subjects, help the manager design and achieve a corporate strategy to run a successful business. You will understand how price discrimination allows managers at airline companies and communicaton service providers to devise pricing strategies to increase profits and market share, and how a product's design and characteristics can be changed to increase profitablility.
