Subject outline
Students in this subject consider topical issues, theories and practices of development, the focus and content shifting according to contemporary developments. Possible topics include: the politics of food security, forging peace processes, participatory approaches to development, working with indigenous peoples, Gandhi and development , humanitarian disasters and advocacy. The subject is positioned at the cutting edge of development thinking, practice or policy and will connect students with experts in the field.
