Subject outline
This subject is split into two components: 1. A series of one day seminars will be offered at each of the clinical placements to advance the students' knowledge in areas of Periodontics, Endodontics, Oral Medicine, Oral Surgery, Removable Prosthodontics, Paedodontics, Extraoral Radiography, Orthodontics and Special Needs. 2. In Week 20 all students will gather at Bundoora Campus for a 4 day "Back to Base" forum. Emphasis will be placed on an Interdisciplinary Approach to Treatment Planning and Patient Management.
