Subject outline

In this subject, students will integrate prior learning with new material, in respect to data collection and diagnostic procedures, implicated in the identification and management of two of the major oral afflictions - caries and periodontal disease - in order to develop a comprehensive, holistic approach to treatment planning as the core component of a patient's care plan. This approach to treatment planning will expose students to the theories and rudimentary skills of effective clinical practice.
