This unit provides students with an understanding of the principles and concepts of electronic commerce, the enabling technologies, and the ways that it is used in a range of businesses both within Australia and overseas. The unit begins by acknowledging the emergence of e-commerce as a powerful and changing dimension impacting on businesses both in Australia and internationally. Subsequently, the unit pursues the strategic implications of the proliferation and growth of information and digital goods.
