Subject outline
Students have the opportunity to put into practise many of the theoretical aspects of their course through undertaking the analysis, design and implementation of a real-life electronic commerce project. A business is assigned to each student, who is then required to fully analyse the needs of the business, design a solution to meet those needs and implement it. Students will be required to prepare a systems requirements specification and a design specification for their project, and be able to justify their design by reference to various design guidelines. They will also be required to fully test and document their project.
