This subject introduces core concepts in accounting and finance as they apply to organisational decision-making. Students develop an understanding of methods used to analyse and interpret accounting and financial information and an ability to apply this knowledge to appraise and fund projects to maximise the value of the business. Students also learn to create value through solving problems, thinking ethically, finding and using relevant information sources and working effectively as a team.
