Subject outline

This subject provides a detailed coverage of Knowledge Management concepts and methodologies which includes knowledge creation, knowledge architecture, and knowledge codification. This subject also fits MIS major points for Knowledge Management through learning from data and information. The Knowledge Management systems life cycle is explained about how to capture, transfer, share and manage organizational knowledge. Through this process-oriented examination of relevant stages, striking a balance between the behavioural and technical aspects of Knowledge Management and use it. The knowledge management tools and knowledge portals as well as the notions of knowledge transfer in the E-world are also discussed.
