Subject outline
This subject introduces students to the theory and practice of human resource management and employment relations in Australia. Through the provision of a range of competing conceptualisations of the management of human resources, students will be expected to analyse the practice of HRM in contemporary workplaces. Key studies will also be conducted on a range of contemporary issues within organisations with particular focus on the involvement of HRM in the management of these issues.
