Subject outline
In this subject students will be assisted to draw upon the audit of their individual skills and knowledge which they have undertaken during the course. The student will be assisted to review the role of social work and social workers in promoting effective social work practice, social polices and social change in national and international communities. The focus is upon understanding leadership theories and applying this to the purpose, values, knowledge and practice of social work. The students' understanding of diversity and inequality will be expanded and they will be assisted to explore the above concepts within fields of practice.
