Subject outline
This subject will focus on the various ways the social sciences are used in policy development and implementation across a range of government and non-government work places. Guest speakers from a range of workplaces will share their experiences with students. Teaching will be in a 3 hour workshop format which will include lectures, discussion, short activities and team work. Assessment will be organised around the 2 stage preparation of a research report in a selected policy area.
