Subject outline
In this subject students survey the international politics of the Asia-Pacific, including: the role of the United States of America in the region; the rise of China; the "normalisation" of Japan; security and North Korea; and the foreign policy of developing states. Students will learn how foreign policy makers, states and non-state actors, engage in international politics and how they frame contentious issues.
