In this subject students study distinctive aspects of USA Contracts Law including the agreement process, consideration, covenants not to compete, moral obligations and consideration, promissory estoppels, parole evidence and interpretation, capacity of parties, avoidance for misconduct or mistake, the Statute of Frauds; conditions, performance and breach; impossibility or impracticability; frustration and risk of casualty losses; enforcement remedies; specific performance; discharge of contracts and bargains that are illegal or against public policy.
