Subject outline
This unit will teach students the principles and processes of law making within globalising commercial fields. Students recognise that global law making works through various media, including transnational contracts, commercial arbitration, regulatory competition and cooperation, the adoption of model codes, and international standard setting. In appraising the different principles and processes, reference is made to the demands of legal efficacy, business management, good governance, effective regulation and social justice in such fields.
