Subject outline
Students will be introduced to the variety of mechanisms used to resolve international commercial disputes. The unit includes; principle of state jurisdiction: negotiation; mediation and conciliation; international commercial arbitration; the arbitral process; enforcement of arbital awards; comparative study of national approaches to international commercial disputes; and special forms of international commercial dispute resolution.
