Subject outline

In this subject we examine contemporary issues in career development, including the meaning of work, workplace professionalism, and rapid changes affecting the future of work. This subject will encourage students to evaluate and make connections between the knowledge and skills they have developed in a range of settings including academic studies, paid and unpaid work, and co-curricular activities. Career development theories will be discussed in relation to career planning and the transition from university to professional employment.
