Subject outline
This unit is divided into two main components, theory and research skills. Throughout the semester, students explore a variety of qualitative research methodologies such as grounded theory, ethnography, action research, unobtrusive observation, case study, phenomenology and archival methods. In addition, students engage in a number of practical activities aimed at increasing their skills in literature critique, data collection and analysis, and report writing.
