Subject outline

In this subject students will further develop skills in the application of conventions and rules for classification of diseases and health interventions using the current Australian version of the World Health Organisation's International Classification of Diseases (ICD-10-AM) and the Australia Classification for Health Interventions (ACHI). Students will refine skills in medical record abstraction and interpretation, including clinical terminology and pharmacology to support application of developing health classification skills.
