Subject outline
The auditory and vestibular systems develop early during embryonic life. The development is governed by genetic factors, as well as environmental, and individual considerations. The second part of the subject will address the epidemiology of hearing and balance pathology. The information will be essential for audiologists engaging in hearing and balance assessment and management.
