Subject outline
In this subject the concepts of human structure and function introduced in HBS1HBB and extended in HBS2APT will be applied to the regional anatomy of the upper limb, head and neck and to the study of neurosciences. Emphasis will be placed on the application of anatomical principles and relevant physiological processes in order to correlate structure with function in developing an understanding of the anatomical bases of everyday activities and also on developing students' abilities to predict the effects of impaired structure and function. This subject will provide students with a background for therapeutic intervention in disorders of relevance to physiotherapy.
