Subject outline

This subject aims to introduce students to scientific research on the environment. One afternoon per week is allocated and involves a project in which the student investigates an environmental problem and seeks a solution. The brief is to acquire data, interpret it and write a report, and is conducted under the supervision of a member of staff and possibly by an external organisation. A final verbal and visual presentation is made at the end of the semester.
